Audience Profile

Here is a mood board that I first created when choosing the genre of my music magazine. The mood board shows some aspects included in the mod genre. Researching my audience profile has helped me to establish a theme of my magazine. Seeing the mod type clothing has allowed me to plan what my model's will be dressed in as well as a colour scheme to create a consistent house style throughout my magazine to follow on with the mod genre. Researching the music artists have allowed me to see the style of music that the audience will enjoy which will further let me create an artist in keeping with the theme.

Along with analysing magazines to research typical page conventions (as shown on the previous page), I have created a survey to gain personal opinions on what people look for in magazines. Finding out people's opinions will help me in creating my magazine as it enables me to find out what gains popularity so that I can include these conventions in my own magazine to create a professional and popular effect.
